    Q. How did you get into hockey?
    A. My dad slapped a set of skates on me when I was 2 and I never looked back… naturally, when I had kids, I had to one-up him and got both of them on skates at just 1 years old!

    Q. Favourite skating mechanic we teach?
    A. Punch Turn. It’s basically the ultimate turning technique. They are fast, explosive and let players change direction like a ninja— plus it just feels really cool when you can pull it off under pressure!

    Q. Off the ice, what do you do?
    A. Chase my kids around, attempt DIY projects that fail spectacularly, and occasionally sneak in a nap when nobody is looking.

    Q. Fun fact
    A. I’m from Stoney Creek but was actually born on Manitoulin Island. I was born in the tiny town of Little Current, Ontario where my parents were both nurses!

    Q.Why twine?
Because we build confident, skilled players who also know how to laugh at themselves— and thats the real win.

    Q. How did you get into hockey?
    A. Growing up in Northern Ontario filled my childhood with winters full of skating on Georgian Bay with a stick in my hands.

    Q.Favorite skating mechanic we teach?
    A. 10&2. Love the ability to fake out opponents and use your edges to protect the puck as well as lead into and unstoppable shot that any goalie would struggle with.

    Q. Off the ice, what do you do?
    A. Golfing and going to the cottage. When I’m not on the ice, I love being outside.

    Q. Fun Fact?
    A. I played house league until I was 11 years old. Went from house league, to rep, to the OHL in only a matter of a couple years. The old saying goes, everyones path is different.

    Q. Why Twine?
    A. Because we teach methods that result in game uses. We breakdown our methods and use examples of how the drills and techniques can be applied to in game use. Growing up going to countless different hockey camps I always struggled to take away skills that would impact my game. This is what separates Twine from the rest.
